CISO Assistant

Location

HQ - Saskatoon

About the Role

As CISO Assistant, you will be a crucial support for our Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and a key person in maintaining our high level of security and compliance. You will work closely with senior management and help drive the administrative and organizational processes that support our entire security strategy. You will report directly to our CISO.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the CISO with calendar management, meeting scheduling, and preparing materials for management and board reporting.
  • Coordinate and follow up on internal and external security audits (including ISO 27001).
  • Administer and maintain documentation related to our security policies and compliance.
  • Manage initial communications with our Security Partners and handle administrative tasks in our Vulnerability Disclosure Program.
  • Assist in preparing internal security bulletins and training materials.

Qualifications

  • Experience as an Executive Assistant, Management Assistant, or Project Coordinator, preferably from a technology company.
  • Extremely organized, proactive, and detail-oriented.
  • Administer and maintain documentation related to our security policies and compliance.
  • The ability to handle confidential information with complete discretion.
  • Strong communication skills in English, written and spoken.
  • A genuine interest in technology and cybersecurity is a significant advantage.

Security Specialist (Penetration Tester)

Location

We empower you to do your best work, wherever that may be. This role can be based in any of our regional offices, or you can choose to work fully remotely.

About the Role

As our new Security Specialist, you will be a key, hands-on player in our proactive defense. Your primary task will be to challenge, test, and validate the security of the Corporate Framework and our underlying infrastructure. You will work closely with our development team to identify and close vulnerabilities before they reach our customers. You will report directly to our CISO.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute penetration tests of our web applications and APIs.
  • Continuously monitor and analyze system and security logs to identify suspicious activity and potential threats.
  • Analyze and validate vulnerability reports from our Security Partner Program.
  • Prepare detailed technical reports on your findings and present them to the development team.
  • Serve as a technical advisor for developers on secure coding and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Documented experience with penetration testing of web applications (OWASP Top 10).
  • Practical experience with security tools such as Burp Suite, Nmap, Metasploit, etc.
  • Experience with log analysis and preferably familiarity with SIEM systems.
  • A deep understanding of network and cloud security (we primarily use Google Cloud).
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., OSCP, CEH) are a plus, but not a requirement.

Partner & Certification Coordinator

About the Role

Our ecosystem of certified developers and partners is the core of our business. As Partner & Certification Coordinator, you will be the administrative driving force ensuring a professional and efficient process for everyone applying to join our network. You will be the first point of contact for new applicants and an important support for our existing partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle the administrative part of the certification process from application to approval.
  • Communicate with developers and agencies who are in the certification process.
  • Maintain and update our public partner directory.
  • Prepare and distribute onboarding materials to new certified developers and partners.
  • Assist with the planning of partner events and webinars.

Qualifications

  • Experience in an administrative role, preferably as a coordinator or assistant.
  • Service-minded with exceptional communication skills.
  • Organized and able to manage multiple processes simultaneously.
  • Fluent in English.
